Ukrainian Food 2016 will unite large, medium and small Ukrainian food producers to discuss strategies of new markets entry, promotion of Ukrainian food abroad and to analyze the export control reforms.
Among the topics of discussion – how to use the experience of alcohol exporting companies in promotion of other types of products, how to adapt confectionery to consumer preferences in the EU, as well as practical ways of trade expansion in the markets of Africa.
Participants of the Congress will have the opportunity to visit regional zones (EU, North Africa, Middle East, Asia, etc.) and logistics and certification zones, in which they will meet importers from these regions, export consultants and representatives of companies that successfully sell their products in these countries.
In particular, the regional areas will be represented by Austria, Algeria, Angola, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Vietnam, Yemen, Iraq, Iran, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Congo, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, Netherlands, Oman, Pakistan, South Korea, South Africa, Poland, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Japan.
The event attracts more than 400 representatives of food companies. The primary audience is executives, business owners and experts in food industry, more than 15 representatives of trade and economic departments of foreign embassies and more than 30 foreign importers. Among the guests – Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Security Taras Kutovyi and Head of State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection Volodymyr Lapa.
During the two-day event the participants may attend panel discussions regarding state regulation of export, logistics, promotion on foreign markets. The case studies of successful exporting companies will also be represented during the discussions.
The event is organized by Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) and Ukrainian Agrarian Council.
