Sweet Corn Cluster

The Sweet Corn Cluster unites Ukrainian producers, processors, and exporters of sweet corn, as well as enterprises engaged in seed production, agrotechnology, and vegetable processing.
Cluster participants focus on the development of modern cultivation, storage, and processing technologies, ensuring consistent product quality for both domestic and international markets.

Objective:
To develop a competitive sweet corn production sector in Ukraine with a strong export orientation, increasing value-added through processing, and implementing innovative technologies that comply with EU standards.

Goals:

• Create an integrated ecosystem of sweet corn producers, processors, and exporters;
  
  

• Build partnerships with international companies and research institutions;
  
  

• Increase exports of frozen, canned, and fresh sweet corn;
  
  

• Expand the market share of Ukrainian sweet corn in the EU and the Middle East;
  
  

• Enhance processing capacities to develop new corn-based products;
  
  

• Implement precision farming, irrigation systems, and biotechnologies to improve yields and resource efficiency.
  
  

Sustainability and International Cooperation:
The Cluster operates in line with the principles of sustainable agriculture — optimizing water and land resources, reducing the use of chemical fertilizers, and applying eco-friendly standards in cultivation.
Partnerships with European agricultural research institutions enable the introduction of innovations in genetics, crop bio-protection, and agri-food processing technologies.
