Ukrainian Food Association at ISM Cologne 2026

U-Food organized and presented a Ukrainian collective stand at the ISM Cologne 2026 exhibition, held from February 1 to 4 in Cologne. The key objective of the participation was to facilitate direct B2B negotiations between Ukrainian manufacturers and international buyers. During the exhibition, the companies held intensive meetings with retail representatives, distributors, and importers, discussing product ranges, Private Label projects, supply volumes, and terms of cooperation. The collective stand was formed with the support of the Import Promotion Desk (IPD), which allowed participants to optimize costs and focus on achieving tangible results.

Within the exposition 28 Ukrainian manufacturers presented their products: TM "Khlibodar", TM "Pichkar", TM "Vomond", LLC "Brain Box", LLC "Sovarog", TM "SweeTale", LLC "Ecosnek", TM "Truff Royal", TM "Bargy", TM "Fizi", LLC "Khlib Trade", TM "Kozub", TM "Polus", LLC "Fabrika Tista", Confectionery Factory "Desna", LLC "Kriolit-D", TM "Smart Sneck", Kyiv BKK, TM "Millennium", TM "Panfruit Ukraine", LLC "T-Prestyzh", LLC "FM Khladoprom", TM "Sunfill", PE "Ukrkorn", LLC "Agroprodsnek", LLC "Shokoladkoff", and TM "Zolote Zerno".

As a result of participating in ISM Cologne 2026, Ukrainian companies held a significant number of targeted negotiations with international buyers from various markets, enabling them to move beyond initial introductions to substantive discussions on terms of cooperation. Participants received specific requests for commercial proposals, technical specifications, and product samples, and also initiated negotiations on Private Label projects with European retailers. Some companies have already advanced to the stage of agreeing on commercial terms and preparing export contracts. At the same time, manufacturers received practical feedback from buyers regarding packaging requirements, certification, and product positioning, which will be used to further adapt their products to the demands of international markets.
