Specialisation and uniqueness: Fruit Logistica is the world’s leading trade fair for fresh produce, remaining the premier venue for industry professionals from around the globe. Unlike general food exhibitions, it is entirely focused on a single segment – fresh fruit, vegetables and everything that ensures their journey from producer to consumer.

The exhibition covers three specialist sectors: Fresh Produce – fruit, vegetables, organic produce, mushrooms, nuts and herbs from over 90 countries; Machinery & Technology – modern sorting technologies, greenhouse equipment and automation; Logistics – solutions for transport, storage and cold chain optimisation. This provides comprehensive coverage of the industry within a single event.

What makes Fruit Logistica unique is the concentration of its target audience. The vast majority of the more than 67,000 trade visitors are decision-makers in the procurement sector, rather than casual visitors. In 2025, the event brought together 91,000 specialists from 151 countries, and over 95 per cent said they would recommend it to their colleagues.

For food producers, attending Fruit Logistica delivers tangible business results in just three days. Here, you can meet face-to-face with importers, distributors and retail chains from dozens of countries who have come specifically to find new suppliers and secure deals. The conference programme, featuring around 200 international speakers, provides insight into current trends – from changes in consumer behaviour to new dynamics in international trade – enabling producers not just to sell, but to build a strategy for entering new markets. Participation in the exhibition also sends a signal to the market: a company represented at Fruit Logistica is perceived as a serious international player, ready for scaling up and long-term cooperation.
